About BowCash Link
A banking counter the neighbourhood owns
BowCash Link was registered to provide mobile money banking services in Sunyani and the surrounding Bono communities. We work directly with MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash and AirtelTigo Money, so a customer can deposit with one network and withdraw from another without changing agent.
Running a mobile money agency means being open early, keeping float in hand, counting carefully at close, and knowing your customers by name. It is the same discipline a WiFi network needs — so the two grew together. When our customers kept asking whether they could pay their data bill where they withdraw cash, the answer became Bowbaw Konect.

Everything you do with money on your phone
Available at any BowCash Link agent point and by mobile transfer. Always show a valid national ID when registering or withdrawing above the operator's daily limit.
Cash withdrawals
Withdraw from any wallet at our counter, with a receipt printed or sent to your phone. Bring your national ID — it keeps your money protected and your account out of trouble.
Transfers & person-to-person
Send money to any MTN, Telecel or AirtelTigo number from our counter or straight from your phone. Useful for family support, market traders settling up, and school fees.
Merchant & shop payments
Pay market traders, fuel stations, pharmacies and suppliers by mobile money instead of cash — with a receipt, and a record for your books if you run the business.
Bills, fees and subscriptions
ECG prepaid and postpaid, water, school fees, TV subscriptions, internet data bundles and airtime — collected at the counter or paid remotely on request.
WiFi payments & top-ups
Pay your Bowbaw Konect subscription, buy a daily bundle or top up your data at the same counter where you withdraw cash. No separate app, no separate queue.

How BowCash Link funds the WiFi
Bowbaw Konect is not a separate venture with separate owners. It is the network arm of BowCash Link, built with the revenue of the agency and run by the same two founders.
Where your transaction goes
Every cedi that passes through the BowCash Link counters pays for mast sites, fibre backhaul, router subsidies, installation labour and the engineers who keep the network up. Customers get free installations and student pricing because the sponsor absorbs those costs instead of passing them to you.

He started with one counter in Sunyani Magazine and the question he kept hearing: “why is data more expensive here than in town?”
